2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV):

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

We often strive to be strong, self-sufficient, and in control. Yet, Paul reminds us that God’s grace is most evident not in our strength, but in our weakness. The world tells us to hide our struggles, to put on a brave face. But God tells us, “My grace is sufficient for you.”

Martin Luther understood this well. He preached that we are completely dependent on God’s grace, not our own merits. When we recognize our weakness, we stop relying on ourselves and turn to Christ, where true power resides.

Whatever burdens you carry today—physical struggles, emotional pain, or spiritual weariness—know this: God’s grace is enough. His power shines brightest when we have nothing left to give. Instead of despairing over our weaknesses, let us, like Paul, boast in them, because they point us directly to Christ.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your all-sufficient grace. When I feel weak, remind me that Your power is at work in me. Help me to trust in You completely, knowing that in my weakness, You are strong. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessings to you today! 🙏✨
